Future Cities

Future Cities (2012 - Present)

Democratic Architecture invites the public to envision cities of the future, which will be added to this collection. All formats and mediums are permissible and everyone is eligible to submit a design.

You are encouraged to explore particularly how you would like your future environment to be constituted, rather than how you assume it will be in reality. Ideas can be as conceptual or as practical as you see fit.

The project so far expresses the creative potential of the public and the extent to which people can be engaged in their own lived environment. Many ideas look critically at how the problems we will face in the future may be addressed collectively through changes in the technologies, political structures and social norms that govern our cities.
